NORTH LITTLE ROCK, AR (RNN) - Bobby Portis led Arkansas with 15 points as the Razorbacks pulled away in the second half and kept out of reach of South Alabama in a 72-60 win Saturday.

Arkansas (9-2) clung to a three-point lead with eight minutes left in the ball game, but Michael Qualls scored seven unanswered points to cap a 15-6 run that put the Razorbacks on top 61-49.

The Jaguars (6-6) never got within single digits after that.

Qualls scored 11 points for Arkansas, and Rashad Madden had 12. Alandise Harris had 10 points and six rebounds off the bench.

Antoine Allen scored a game-high 21, and Augustine Rubit had eight points and 10 rebounds. Mychal Ammons had 14 points and six rebounds.
