RALEIGH, NC (RNN) – The No. 25-ranked Missouri Tigers escaped a quick trip to Tobacco Road and defeated the North Carolina State Wolfpack 68-64 Saturday night.

The win for the Tigers (11-1) came courtesy of a go-ahead 3-pointer from guard Jabari Brown with less than a minute left in regulation. The Wolfpack (9-3) dominated most of the game, leading throughout the game until late in the second half.

The Tigers took their first lead with 2:58 remaining in the second frame, thanks to a Jordan Clarkson jumper. Brown's 3-pointer and the team going five-for-five in their last free throw attempts gave the visitors a late win.

The loss snapped a seven-game winning streak for the Wolfpack.

Clarkson was the Tigers' leading scorer with 21 points, grabbed four assists and went nine-for-10 at the free throw line. Brown added 17 points to the win. Guard Earnest Ross scored a double-double, with 11 points and 13 rebounds.

The Tigers shot 40 percent from field goal range and went just seven-for-18 from downtown, but shot 73 percent from the free throw line.

Missouri's next game will be at home vs. the Long Beach State 49ers on Saturday, Jan. 4.
