MURFREESBORO, TN (WSMV) -

Murfreesboro police are looking for the woman suspected of shooting two people Monday morning at Raiders Ridge Apartments.

Officers say Anita Nichols waited for the pair to come home then opened fire through the back door just after midnight.

One victim was shot in the shoulder and the other was shot in the leg.

Investigators said the shooting occurred after an argument earlier, so Nichols returned with a gun and waited outside the apartment before shooting.

One of the victims was transported by medical helicopter to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in critical condition, and the other victim was listed in stable condition at Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital.

If you know Nichols' whereabouts, call Murfreesboro police.
