HOPKINS CO., KY (WFIE) -

A Hopkins County man is sentenced to 20 years in jail for the murder of his aunt two years ago.

In December, officials say 32-year-old Joshua Osborne admitted to murdering 46-year-old Sherry Hays and hiding her body in a shallow grave near Dawson Springs.

Osborne received 5 years for tampering with evidence and 20 years for murder. The sentences will run concurrently, minus 764 days he has already been in jail.

In August, Joshua's wife, Stephanie, pleaded guilty to tampering with physical evidence.
