BOWIE COUNTY, TX (KLTV) - A 23-year-old Texarkana man is in jail after police say he solicited who he believed was a 15-year-old girl online.

Bowie County Sheriff's Chief Deputy Jeffrey Neal says Noble Solomon May had been communicating with an undercover officer online. During the conversation, May said he wanted to meet who he believed was a 15-year-old girl to have sex with her. When the undercover office responded she had obtained a ride from a 16-year-old friend to meet May, he asked if her friend had a little sister. The officer told May that her friend had a seven year old sister, at which point he asked the officer to bring the little girl along so he could have sex with her as well.

When May arrived at the meeting point, he was surprised to find law enforcement officers waiting for him instead of the young girls.

May was arrested without incident and is being held on $50,000 bond.

The Pike County Sheriff's Office, Miller County Sheriff's Office, United States Marshal's Service and Bowie County Sheriff's Office cooperated on the investigation.
