    An armed robbery at a Portageville store Monday night is currently under investigation.

Officials arrested 20 individuals after a month long investigation of gang activity and drug trafficking in Evansville and Vanderburgh County.

Of the 20 arrested, 8 are facing federal charges. The remaining 12 are facing state charges.

Charges include carrying firearms, drug paraphernalia, criminal gang activity, and distributing cocaine.

Police said the suspects are part of the 300-Wag Block Gang, which is named after the 300 block of Waggoner Ave in Evansville.

The 8 who were arrested and face federal charges are:

  • Maleek Davis (21) aka "Skinny" or "Pluto Dollas"
  • Mykale Davis (22) aka "Kales"
  • Tiackquien Douglas (21) aka "TT"
  • Gerald Butler (23) aka "Boogie"
  • Luther Lawton (21) aka "Lut Lut" or "LL"
  • Duwan McKinney (27) aka "Mula" or "Shorty"
  • Lusta Johnson (21)
  • D'Mariea Fox (23)

Vanderburgh County Sheriff Eric Williams released the names of the 12 suspects who were arrested that face state charges:

  • Michael Anthony-Dewanna Hooker (24)
  • Emmanuel Keith Fentress (22)
  • Sean Lamehl Shelby Jr. (22)
  • Joel Jermaine Word (28)
  • Larry Jay Allgood (53)
  • Hilda Mae Burris (52)
  • Timothy Jon Reitz (37)
  • Leroy Gary Fentress (57)
  • Jonathan Montez Adams (24)
  • Braizion Dontay Robinson (20)
  • Tony Ray Johnson Jr. (22)
  • Lamont Earl Xavier Payne (48)
Sheriff Eric Williams said 21-year-old Diamante Shawnleel Jones and 21-year-old Leonard Jerome Tucker Jr. are remaining at large.

Jones is wanted for conspiracy to deal cocaine.

Tucker Jr. is wanted for conspiracy to deal cocaine and dealing cocaine.

Sheriff Eric Williams says both subjects are to be considered armed and dangerous.
