Fire burns Hanover home

HANOVER, VA (WWBT) -

A fire badly burned a Hanover home Wednesday morning.

The flames broke out around 6:20 a.m. in the attic of a home in the 11000 block of Rocky Ridge Road, according to Hanover fire officials. 

One person was inside at the time. She managed to escape and was taken to a hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation.

Investigators are still trying to determine what sparked the blaze.
