NEW YORK (WCBS/CNN) - Four people thought to be connected to the drugs found in late actor Philip Seymour Hoffman's apartment were arrested late Tuesday.
A law enforcement official said a raid led to the arrest of the three men and one woman.
In the raid, police say they recovered 350 bags or envelopes that may be used to contain heroin.
Hoffman was found in his fourth-floor Manhattan apartment Sunday.
Police found the actor lying on the bathroom floor with a syringe in his left arm.
Law enforcement sources said investigators discovered close to 50 envelopes of what they believed was heroin in the apartment.
They also found used syringes and prescription drugs.
Police have not yet said exactly how Tuesday's arrests are connected to the Hoffman death investigation.
