More organizations stepping in to help Watson family

MUHLENBERG CO., KY (WFIE) -

More organizations are stepping up to help the Watson family, who lost eight children and their mother in a house fire last week.

Tucker Funeral Homes has told the family, they will be picking up the entire funeral expense, including caskets.

Country music group, The Band Perry, had previously offered to pay for the funeral, but since that is taken care of, they will be picking up costs of headstones, plots and flowers for the nine members of the Watson family.

Family also says The Band Perry will be sending an instrumentalist to play during the funeral which is scheduled for Saturday.

36-year-old Chad and 11-year-old Kylie Watson are still in the hospital in Nashville, but there is some good news this afternoon from church members. They say Kylie has gotten out of bed and is listening to Taylor Swift and playing checkers.
