BUFFALO, MN (WCCO/CNN) - A Minnesota college student and hockey player built his very own "crushed ice course" in his parents' backyard.
Cole Meyer sprayed water on this snowy hillside several times a day for two weeks, until it was just right.
Now he's showing off his slick moves on the frozen ramps and slopes.
But the track is "not" for amateurs.
"It was tough getting used to if you're used to skating on flat ice, but going downhill, hitting jumps is a little tough getting used to," Meyer said.
Meyer says he was inspired to build the track after seeing the Red Bull Crashed Ice stunt course in Saint Paul.
He tried out for the upcoming events there, but Meyer says he hasn't been told yet whether he qualified for the competition later this month.
