PERRYSBURG, OH (Toledo News Now) -

Three people were arrested Thursday morning in Perrysburg after Federal Bureau of Investigation agents and US Marshals raided an apartment.

Earl Beebe, John Debolt and Anthony Wymer were booked into the Lucas County Jail after they were indicted on charges related to a chop shop ring.

Police say the three were involved in a ring which stole semi tractor trailers from around the country and then chopped them into pieces on Sterling Street in central Toledo.

Witnesses say agents approached the apartment with guns drawn while children waited for a school bus nearby.

"The fact that this sort of thing happens doesn't surprise me at all. The fact that it happened in this neighborhood, I mean, you just never know," said Richard Andrews. "Economy is bad and people when they are stressed will do anything to make a buck, so to speak."
