Fire survivor improves, wants to look pretty for Justin Bieber

NEW ALBANY, IN (WAVE) – Friends and family of a 5-year-old girl who surviveda house fire that killed her three siblings shared some encouraging news Wednesdaynight.

Taty'ana Hughes is continuing to recover in an Indianapolis children's hospital,but her grandmother Marie Hughes Clark said not only were all of her tubesremoved, but she no longer has to rely on machines.

Clark shared a photo of Taty'ana with a huge smile on her face as she toldher mom "to make her pretty for Justin Bieber."

She also told her grandma, "I want some roller skates." Familymembers said she is doing great, which is remarkable considering her injuriesand what's she's been through.

Taty'ana was hurt in the January 4 arson that killed herthree siblings, 2-year-old Trinity Hughes, 4-year-old Tyrese Hughes and6-year-old Tai'zah Hughes, in a home on Ealy Street.

Investigators have arrested Cody Cashion, 18, Kylie Jenks, 19, ShelbyMakowsky, 18 and a 17-year-old juvenile in connection to the fire.

Court documents state the girls who were arrested told officers Cashion fireda flare into the home as retaliation. They said Cashion was mad at JonathonStewart, who lived in the Ealy Street home with his sister, for stealing fromhim.

Stewart was not home at the time of the fire, but the children the childrenwere sleeping inside as their mother visited Stewart's sister.
