Thousands of people are watching live in anticipation as a bald eagle at Berry College in northwest Georgia mothers her new baby.

The first egg hatched on Saturday, Feb. 22., giving viewers a live, close-up view of the eaglet. The parent eagles can be seen feeding and nurturing the young eaglet. A second egg remains in the nest, but experts say it is not likely to hatch.

Berry College's live stream has received over three million views so far.

Tuesday night, Feb. 18, an owl shocked viewers by trying to steal one of the eggs, but no baby eagles were harmed in the incident.
