DETROIT (AP) - Nation of Islam Minister Louis Farrakhan will deliver the keynote speech on the final day of the movement's four-day convention in Detroit.
Farrakhan speaks Sunday afternoon at Joe Louis Arena. The title is "How Strong is Our Foundation: Can We Survive?"
The convention called Saviours' Day has commemorated the founding in Detroit of the Nation of Islam, which has espoused black nationalism and self-reliance since the 1930s. It was last held in Detroit in 2007.
The Nation of Islam now is based in Chicago.
The conference typically draws thousands of people from around the globe.
