TMW: Northwest side burglary suspects sought

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) -

"Each of these burglaries is happening during daylight hours between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. each day. Good news is nobody's been hurt so far, though one of the victims did see a burglar face to face. And that's raising concerns of a lot of people in this northwest side community."

We're talking about at least three burglaries dating back to Feb. 13 and this is the case that started it all.

A younger looking Hispanic male seen casing a home near Shadow Run and Orange Grove.

Looking at the surveillance, we see that he comes to the front door around 4:52 p.m.

"Most burglars are actually doing that - they're ringing the doorbell and trying to make sure no one's there."

Eight minutes later he's pulling a crowbar out of his backpack and breaking into the rear of the house.

"Looks like a Hispanic male, maybe about 20 years old...dark hair.  he's wearing some red clothing, distinctive red shoes, carrying a backpack and the belongings of the residents.">

Two days later, a very similar case just a few blocks away.

We don't have surveillance of this burglary.

Though the victim reportedly came face to face with the burglar who then took off with approximately $30,000 in jewelry and property.

While investigators won't tell us the connection just yet, they are asking for information about two people.

"A gentleman by the name of Jacob Gonzales (23) and his girlfriend, Holly Ann Houlton (25)."

Both are considered persons of interest in at least two of the burglaries.

If you have any information about them or the unidentified man seen ripping off this home two weeks ago, you're asked to call 911 or 88-CRIME.

A reward up to $1,000 will go to the person whose tip leads to an arrest in this string of unsolved cases.
