Herrin missing child found safe

HERRIN, IL (KFVS) -

The Herrin Police Department has located a Herrin child who had been missing since Saturday morning.

According to the police department, 9-year-old David J. Melvin was found safe at friend's house.

Melvin went to the friend's house without telling his family where he was going.
