CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

The S.W.A.T. standoff ended just before 10:30 p.m. Sunday, March 1, 2014 in Cleveland for a known fugitive.

The fugitive could be armed and on the loose in Northeast Ohio.

According to police spokeswoman Jennifer Ciaccia, a man wanted on felony warrants was thought to have barricaded himself inside of a house located at 112th Street and Benham on the eastside.

A foot chase with authorities ended there earlier in the evening.

Once S.W.A.T. team members entered the house, the fugitive, according to Ciaccia, was gone.

Again, he could possibly be armed.

The Cleveland Police Department is not releasing the fugitive's name or what crime he is wanted in conjunction for.
