First statement released from Holly Bobo's family since indictment

DECATUR COUNTY, TN -

(WMC-TV) – Holly Bobo's family released their first statement since an indictment was made in Holly's case. The statement was made to a Jackson, Tenn. television station.

In a text message sent to WBBJ, the Bobo family said, "We still have hope because of who our hope is in. Holly had that same hope and faith. Because of Jesus Christ, we will see her again. Jesus will provide the strength and grace to see us through."

Despite Zachary Adams being charged with the kidnapping and murder of Holly Bobo, her family is still hopeful.

"You can't give up hope, you can't give up hope, even now," said Holly's great-uncle, Frank Pratt.

Pink ribbons line the streets and roadways in Decatur County, Tenn. On the approach to Holly's house, every mailbox reminds drivers of what the Bobo family's mission has been for the last three years.

The announcement about Adams' murder arrest was not the news they had hoped for all these years.

"I don't believe they can ever find any closure if they don't find the body," he said.

Suspect Zachary Adams is being held in the Chester County Jail. The TBI believes he kidnapped and murdered Bobo.

Adams is scheduled to appear in court Tuesday afternoon for an arraignment.  Authorities say there could still be more arrests in the case.
