DECATURVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Thousands of people have helped search for Holly Bobo over the years, and some of them were in the courtroom Tuesday as suspected killer Zachary Adams made his first appearance in the case.

Among those present were Bobo's parents and brother, who have stayed out of the public eye since Adams' arrest.

When they arrived to the Decatur County courthouse, they saw that someone in the past day or two has completely redecorated the square, tying pink ribbons and bows around trees and lamp posts in honor and memory of Holly Bobo.

There is not so much of a sense of relief and sadness in the community as there is a feeling that it is not over. There is a lot more to the case and so many questions remain unanswered.

"I do think there's more to come because they haven't released anything yet," said Parson resident Laura Rogers. "I'm just praying that everyone stays strong through it."

The people who sat in the courtroom Tuesday came for two reasons: to see the man who allegedly killed Holly Bobo, to support her family or both.

"I pray that God's will be done, whatever that may be. Holly is sitting somewhere high watching over everybody and can give everybody a sort of peace about it," said family friend Ricky Alexander. "I pray that justice will follow through."

Part of what feels so incomplete is the lack of answers.

"We've got to find Holly. With everything going on, even with a child, they've got to put her to rest. And that's probably the hardest thing that everyone's trying to figure out," said Decatur County resident Patrick Koller.

The family still grieves in privacy, negotiating a gauntlet of pain.

"I request that you pray for the Bobo family, that you respect their privacy. They are a family of great faith. By the grace of God, they will get through this," said family Pastor Don Franks.
