Local restaurant donates proceeds to Agape House

PARAGOULD, AR (KAIT) - The owners of a Paragould restaurant are donating their profits to benefit the community.

All of the money earned by Mamma Mia's on Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. will be donated to the Agape House.

Although the Italian owners, Kenni and Flora Jonuvi, have been in the country for three months, Tracy Cobbs, assistant manager of the restaurant, said they have an open heart for the community.

"This family in this restaurant- they love and they care about the community and they want to see the Agape House grow," said Cobbs.

Sunny Curtis, Executive Director of the Agape House, said they rely solely on donations to help women overcome their drug addictions.

The Agape House works with women all over Region 8 and have also had women from out of state come here for help.
