Woman arrested after allegedly hitting person in head with beer bottle

NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

A woman is facing charges after police say she took a few swings with a beer bottle at a saloon on Broadway Monday night.

Police say 25-year-old Kimberly Haas hit another woman over the head with a beer bottle multiple times.

The victim had deep lacerations to her face that required stitches.

Haas is facing public intoxication and aggravated assault charges.

She was arrested near the intersection of 3rd Avenue South and Demonbreun Street after leaving the saloon.
