LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – Here are 10 things Kentuckiana will be talking about today:

1: Milton-Madison Detours - Drivers seeking an alternate route across the Ohio River from the Madison, Indiana or Milton, Kentucky areas have a couple of options while the Milton-Madison Bridge is closed, but both of them are time-consuming.

2: Milton-Madison Bridge – On the heels of a history making project, the Milton Madison Bridge was shut down, forcing thousands of drivers to more than double their travel times.

3: Snow Days - School districts would not have to make up many of the snow days they had this winter under a bill that cleared a Kentucky House committee Tuesday.

4: Accident: The victims were found dead hours later in two different yards in the 4100 block of Rivulet Court just north of Blankenbaker Parkway and Taylorsville Road hours later.

5: Stage Collapse - A court says the state isn't responsible for work performed by a contractor involved in the 2011 Indiana State Fair stage collapse.

6: Teacher Retirement - The call has been out to get teachers to put pressure on lawmakers as the teachers pension plan has a shortfall of some $800 million, but from as of Tuesday night, it looks like the issue is all but dead in the water this session.

7: Serving Warrants - Jefferson County Deputies serve 80,000 court orders a year. Serving warrants is one of the most dangerous parts of the job. Tuesday the serving of a warrant at a man's home led to his death.

8: Investigation: Two veterans of the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department are facing questions after investigators say they shot and killed a man who led them on a car chase to avoid arrest.

9: Job Fair: Price Less Foods is holding a job fair. The company's newest grocery store is not scheduled to open until later next month, but they are already looking to fill their staff.

10: Hughes Fundraiser: The Clarksville Texas Roadhouse is hosting a fundraiser for the Hughes Family on Thursday.
