HENRICO, VA (WWBT) -

Henrico fire investigators say discarded smoking materials caused a late-night fire at a West End home.

Flames broke out on the front porch of a house in the 1900 block of Bridgewater Drive, located off of Hungary Road around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday. Two adults and one child managed to escape uninjured. The damage was contained to the outside of the structure. The family was not displaced as a result.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
