ARAB, AL (WAFF) -

A Tennessee Valley woman made a first-hand discovery at a secondhand store.

Kerri Clemons of Arab bought some items from Mike's Merchandise in Guntersville several years ago, including a diary from a soldier in Alaska serving in Afghanistan.

After re-discovering it recently, Kerri wants to get this diary back to the soldier or his family, and she has asked for our help.

"I want to know what happened to him and if he did pass in combat," Kerri said. "It means something to me to get it to his family and I could thank him for his service."

If you know Bryan P. Bailey or his family and can help us get this diary back to them, please let us know. You can contact us via Facebook at www.waff.com/Facebook.
