TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -

Toledo police are investigating after a teen was shot over the weekend in east Toledo.

Around 11:30 p.m. Sunday, the teen was found laying on the corner of Caledonia and Whittemore when police and fire crews arrived.

Detectives say the victim was alert and talking while he was being transported to the hospital.

Neighbors say the victim is just 16 years old.

So far no arrest have been made. If you have any information that could help police, call CrimeStopper at 419-255-1111. You can remain anonymous and could be eligible for a cash reward.
