Fulton County sheriff investigating possible hunting death

DELTA, OH (Toledo News Now) -

The Fulton County Sheriff's Office is investigating a possible hunting accident that caused a man's death early Wednesday afternoon.

Sheriff Roy Miller says on Wednesday around 1:45 p.m., they responded to a possible hunting accident in Delta.

During the investigation, the body of Chad Spiess, 51, was located on his property in the 5700 block of County Road H. Miller says Spiess had a gunshot wound to his chest and was deceased. It was reported that he had gone woodchuck hunting that morning.

The case remains under investigation by the Fulton County Sheriff's Office and Ohio Division of Wildlife.
