Victim in Prince George death investigation identified

Prince George Police Department is now identifying the victim in a death investigation as the search continues for a person of interest.

Police tell us around 3:54 p.m. Friday 67 year old Lana Sears was discovered deceased by a family member inside her home in the 1300 block of Marl Bank Drive. Officers are now looking for 42 year old Alana Renee Cole who is considered a person of interest in this investigation. 

Anyone with information about this case or Alana Cole's whereabouts is urged to call Crime Solvers at (804) 733-2777 or text "igotcha" to 274637 (CRIMES).  Crime Solvers will pay up to $1,000.00 in cash for information that is of value to police.  You never have to give your name or testify in court to receive your reward.
