WILLIAMS, AZ (CBS5) -

If you're planning to visit Kaibab and Coconino National Forest in northern Arizona on Monday, officials are warning campfires are banned.

The National Weather Service issued a Red Flag Warning for Monday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

A Red Flag Warning is issued when strong winds and low relative humidity create a fire risk.

On April 18, the Coconino National Forest and the Williams and Tusayan Ranger Districts of the Kaibab National Forest implemented campfire and smoking restrictions at campgrounds that aren't considered developed.

Under the Red Flag Warning, fires, campfires, charcoal, coal and wood stoves are not allowed even in developed campgrounds.
