SPARTANBURG, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Two men are accused of robbing someone at gunpoint for his pills, but the victim tried to fight back until a gun went off during the struggle, deputies said.

Deputies arrested one of the accused robbers and his getaway driver Wednesday morning.

Spartanburg County deputies said the pair, Jacob Bailey and Crystal Roddy, along with a third person showed up at the victim's Old Highway 14 home on Monday about 9 p.m.

Bailey, 29, and a second suspect went inside and asked to speak to the victim in another room, deputies said. They said that's when Bailey pulled out a gun and demanded the victim's medications.

The victim fought back and as the two struggled, Bailey's gun went off, deputies said. The victim stopped fighting and threw his pills on the floor, deputies said.

Bailey picked up the pills and the other man, who deputies later identified as 28-year-old Franklin Graham, appeared to pull out a sawed off shotgun, the victim told deputies, then they took off.

They jumped in a Cadillac driven by Roddy, 31, and the victim ran after them trying to stop them, deputies said.

Roddy was charged with accessory before the fact felony and accessory after the fact felony. Bailey was charged with armed robbery and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

On Thursday, Graham was charged with possession of a weapon during a violent crime and armed robbery, according to warrants.

Deputies said they are still investigating the case and additional suspects may be charged.

If anyone has any information, they are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
