Drug enforcement agents find five acid generators in meth lab

Lexington County drug officers found five acid generators that can be used to manufacture methamphetamine as well as a small amount of methamphetamine in a bust off Pelion Road on Monday.

According to Sheriff James R. Metts, a search warrant was executed on the home of Jamie Williams Greenlee.

When agents entered the home, according to Metts, they found all the necessary components to manufacture the drug.

Greenlee, 38, was arrested and charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, possessing methamphetamine, unlawfully altering pseudoephedrine, and improperly disposing of waste from a methamphetamine laboratory.

Greenlee was being held at the Lexington County Detention Center while awaiting a bond hearing.
