HILTON HEAD ISLAND, SC (WTOC) -

The 18th annual Rib Burnoff and Barbecue Fest is happening this weekend on Hilton Head Island. 

In addition to delicious barbecue, there's going to be live performances and a children's play area with a water slide.  

The Kiwanis Club of Hilton Head Island is hosting the event at the Coastal Discovery Museum at Honey Horn this Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. 

Armed Forces Day is also Saturday, and active military families will receive special admission rates of $10 per person. Regular admission is $12 in advance and $15 at the gate. All children under 12 will be admitted free. Ticket includes 7 samples of barbecue. Advance tickets will be sold for $12 at:

  • Reilley's Grille and Bar   
  • Burke's Main St Pharmacy   
  • Bluffton Pharmacy
  • Coastal Discovery Museum   
  • Honey Baked Ham (Bluffton near Starbucks)
  • And from any Kiwanian

Proceeds from this event will benefit Lowcountry charities.
