Chesterfield man robbed at gunpoint in own driveway

CHESTERFIELD, VA (WWBT) -

Police are looking for an armed man who robbed a Chesterfield resident in his own driveway in the middle of the afternoon.

A man was sitting in his drive in the 6000 block of Woodpecker Road Thursday around 3 p.m. when a dark blue Nissan sedan pulled up behind man. A passenger got out of the car, opened the man's door, showed him a gun and demanded his wallet.

The man handed over his wallet and the suspect drove off.

Police have only a vague description of the suspect and no description of the driver. They ask anyone with information to contact Crime Solvers at 804-748-0660.
