Hunt for suspect in Dogwood City

DPS and the Smith County Sheriff's Department were on the hunt late Friday and early Saturday morning, looking for someone in the Dogwood City area. DPS confirmed they were using a helicopter to assist in the search, which, DPS said, didn't turn up anything.

KLTV 7 asked if the hunt had anything to do with the, quote, "Ninja Robbers." DPS said it did not.

We are still working on who, exactly, authorities were looking for, and we will update the story as soon as we have any new information.
