Traffic Alert: Lanes reopen on I-295 south after crash

Posted: Updated:
HENRICO, VA (WWBT) -

A three car crash on Interstate 295 is still under investigation. State Police tell us it happened just before 7:00 p.m. Friday, when a green Chevy Cruze cut off a Nissan Cube. It swerved to avoid hitting the Cruze and wound up hitting a Honda Pilot.

We're told that Honda flipped and a child passenger was ejected from the car. That child is expected to be alright -- as are the three other people who were injured.

Several lanes were closed for about 90 minutes while crews cleaned up the crash.
And state police are looking for that green Chevy Cruze.

If you saw anything on I-295, call State Police at 553-3445.
