TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -

Toledo Police have arrested one man in a pair of south Toledo carryout robberies, and are searching for a second suspect.

Dajuan Willingham has been arrested and charged with two counts of aggravated robbery and two counts of felonious assault.

Leroy Alcorn is wanted on two counts of aggravated robbery and one count of felonious assault.

Toledo Police say the pair is only charged for two of the close to a dozen carryout robberies. This includes one at 2620 Airport Highway on June 1 and another at 1409 Western Avenue, which was hit twice. Police say they are confident they were responsible for all of the dangerous robberies and more charges will come.

"Multiple robberies with bad characters carrying guns in convenience stores. It's no good," said Lieutenant Dan Gerken.

Thursday Dajuan Willingham faced a judge. His bond is set at $100,000. Leroy Alcorn is still on the run. Police credit teamwork, countless hours and viewer's Crimestopper tips for cracking this case.

"It's a big undertaking for us. The amount of man hours is tremendous," said Lieutenant Gerken.

One carryout owner was beaten so badly, he had to be rushed to the hospital. Since his shop was hit, he has been living on edge.

"I'm watching myself every single minute. I'm standing next to the door all the time to watch so this doesn't happen to me again. So I'm glad this happened and it's over now," said the store owner.

The father and grandfather said it wasn't about losing the money, but about the safety of his family and the neighborhood.

"This is very good news for me to catch this crook and I hope we can catch the second one. I want to thank every cops for Toledo and every detective," said the store owner.

Police need your help getting Alcorn off the street. Your Crimestopper tips helped identify the pair. Now police need to find where he's hiding out.

If you know where Alcorn is you are urged to call Crimestopper at 419-255-1111, or 911.
