OVERLAND PARK, KS (KCTV) -

Five teenagers have been charged with trespassing and theft after they reportedly stole a goat from an Overland Park farmstead.

The stolen goat wound up in at McDonald's at West 151st Street and Black Bob Road in Olathe about 2 a.m. Sunday.

During their investigation, Olathe police contacted Overland Park authorities when they found out the goat was from Deanna Rose Children's Farmstead, located at 13800 Switzer Road.

Officer Gary Mason of the Overland Park Police Department said it is unknown at this time how the teens managed to steal the goat.

A similar situation occurred last October when a nearly 2-year-old pygmy goat named Kale was stolen from the same farmstead.

According to the Overland Park Police Department blog, Kale was found at Blue Valley High School.
