(CNN) - The wrecked Costa Concordia cruise ship is now afloat once again.

A salvage team has completed the mammoth attempt to raise the Costa Concordia.

Crews floated it by pumping air into giant boxes surrounding the ship.

It was a delicate operation, the ship could have broken apart.

The process to completely refloat the ship will take around five days.

The cruise liner ran aground and tipped over two and a half years ago off Italy’s Giglio Island, 32 people died in the wreck.

Officials hope to find the remains of waiter Russel Rebello, the only victim who hasn’t been found.

It’s estimated the catastrophe will end up costing the ship's owners about $2 billion.
