Wanted Kennett man arrested with drugs

JONESBORO, AR (KAIT) - A man with a warrant out from Kennett was arrested Friday with drugs in his pocket.

According to Kennett Police, at around 1:15, officers found Johnathon Winfield walking in the 300-block of Central Street.

When officers arrested him, Winfield told them he had the synthetic drug, K-2.

Officers found the K-2, several baggies for packaging, and a set of digital scales in his pockets.

He is being charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute.

He is being held at the Dunklin County Detention Center awaiting formal charges form the Dunklin County prosecutor.
