Man accused of sexually assaulting hotel employee in Miner, MO

MINER, MO (KFVS) -

A man is accused of sexually assaulting a female hotel employee in Miner, Missouri.

According to Police Chief Chris Griggs, officers from the Miner Police Department responded to a hotel to a sexual assault complaint.

The employee accused that 46-year-old Jeff L. Mahaffey of made sexual advances towards her on more than one occasion.

She told officers Mahaffey said his TV was not working in his room.

She went in and found out that the TV was working.

While in the room, the woman told officers Mahaffey sexually assaulted her, and made a number of sexual advances towards her, according to a police report.

Mahaffey was charged with two counts of sexual abuse.

His bond was set at $5000.

He was being held at the Miner Police Department.
