2 men sought after shots fired in Cape Girardeau

CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) - Police responded to a report of shots fired early Friday morning on the south side of Cape Girardeau.

According to the police department, the call came from Good Hope and South Pacific streets around 3 a.m.

Police are now looking for two men who were seen running from the area after the shots were heard.

The station commander at the Cape Girardeau Police Department says at the time of the incident, accurate descriptions of the suspects could not be provided by witnesses.

Investigators plan to be back on the scene later on Friday and hope to get descriptions at that time.

No one was hurt and no damage was reported.
