Kansas City police officer challenges kids to dance off

KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -

So you think you can dance?

A Kansas City police officer thinks so. He showed his moves off to an appreciative young crowd Sunday in a dance-off on the city's east side.

A Kansas City resident captured his hilarious routine on camera and posted it on YouTube. The video was then shared Monday with Kansas City police on Facebook.

In it, the officer displayed his "best" moves in a dance-off with neighborhood children in the East Patrol Division on Sunday.

"Maybe we'll start including dancing as a course at the academy, because it sure looks like we could use it," Kansas City police said on their Facebook page.
