Man accused of sodomy was stabbed with pencil by girl

SCOTT CITY, MO (KFVS) - A Scott City man is accused of statutory sodomy of a young girl.

Justin Bailey, 33, of Scott City, is charged with statutory sodomy 1st degree and sexual misconduct.

Bailey is accused of a inappropriately touching a girl under 14 years old in December 2013.

According to court documents, Bailey went to help a girl with homework and in appropriately exposed himself and touched the girl.

The girl repeatedly told Bailey to stop, according to court documents. Bailey stopped after she stabbed him in the hand with a pencil, according to court documents.

Bailey told police that he was groggy from sleeping and intoxicated from drinking. He said he didn't remember what happened.

Bailey was taken to the Scott County Jail with a bond set at $100,000.

An arraignment is set for Aug. 12 at 10:30 a.m. at the Scott County Courthouse.
