Paducah police investigating alleged robbery of cab driver

PADUCAH, KY (KFVS) -

Paducah police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man who allegedly robbed a cab driver on Sunday afternoon, August 10.

According to police, they responded to the area of North 21st Street and Park Avenue on Sunday around 3:45 p.m. after receiving a report of a robbery. They met with the victim who said he got a call from a person asking for a cab ride from the area of 21st Street and Park Avenue.

The driver reported that when he pulled up, the suspect put a gun to his head and demanded his money. He said the suspect ran south on North 21st Street before police arrived.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 28 to 32 years old, 5'10" and 160 pounds. He has short hair and was wearing gray sweatpants and a gray shirt.
