NORTH AUGUSTA, SC (WFXG) -

A North Augusta mother is facing a disorderly conduct charge after a witness said she used profanity toward her children in a grocery store.

Danielle Christine Wolf, 22, was arrested Sunday at the Kroger on Knox Avenue, according to an incident report from the North Augusta Department of Public Safety.

A witness in the store said she heard Wolf use the F-word toward her children multiple times, according to the report. The witness called the North Augusta Department of Public Safety.

Officers responded and arrested Wolf. She was issued a citation for disorderly conduct and released on a courtesy summons.

The witness, Michelle Smith, told WFXG's Nick Lulli that she never intended for Wolf to get arrested.

According to Smith, she suffered verbal abuse as a child, and was simply trying to be an advocate for the children.
