KAILAHUN, SIERRA LEONE (CNN) - The World Health Organization (WHO) says 84 more people have died from Ebola, and there are 113 new cases.

That brings the overall death toll to 1,229.

On Monday, WHO requested that countries affected by the virus conduct exit screenings at airports and other border crossings.

The organization says there is no need to ban international travel.
