Symsonia teen accused of animal cruelty, terroristic threatening

GRAVES COUNTY, KY (KFVS) -

The Graves County Sheriff's Office investigated a report of cruelty to animals and terroristic threatening on Thursday, Aug. 21.

James Henderson, 18, of Symsonia, Ky. was charged with two counts of cruelty to animals second degree and one count of terroristic threatening in the third degree.

The investigation started after a report that Henderson had allegedly shot a cat three times, had allegedly broken a dog's ribs and had allegedly threatened to burn a house the ground. The house belonged to the person who called deputies.

According to the sheriff's office, the victim reported that Henderson shot her cat three time two days ago and it died. She said she got onto him and made him bury the cat.

The victim told deputies that she came home on Wednesday and heard him laughing and bragging to her about breaking her dog's ribs.

She said she checked the dog and noticed blood on its side.
