Tanker truck leaks 500 gallons of oil after road gives away

WALTONVILLE, IL (KFVS) -

A tanker truck has leaked oil on Highway 148 near Waltonville.

According to Waltonville Fire Chief Ed Delaney, a tanker truck is leaking some sort of road oil on the highway.

It's at Academy Road and Lodge Lane.

It has leaked about 500 gallons so far and hazmat crews are on the way.

No traffic problems have been reported, and nothing hazardous.

There are no traffic detours.

Delaney says the truck was parked and the road gave way.
