Armed robbery at Portageville store under investigation

PORTAGEVILLE, MO (KFVS) -

An armed robbery at a Portageville store Monday night is currently under investigation.

According to Portageville Police Sgt. Austin Delisle, the incident happened around 9 p.m. at the Fred's Super Dollar on Highway 162.

Delisle says a man wearing a mask and dressed in black held two cashiers at gunpoint and demanded money. The robber got away with an undetermined amount of money.

No one was hurt and there is no one in custody at this time.
