2 injured in pickup crash in McCracken County

Two people were injured in a pickup truck crash Thursday morning in McCracken County, Kentucky.

According to the sheriff's office, around 6:30 a.m., deputies were dispatched to a crash that happened in the 400 block of Said Road.

Officers learned that 25-year-old Scott Miller from Benton, Kentucky was traveling northbound  in a Chevrolet pickup.

According to the sheriff's office,  Miller lost control of the truck. It was spinning around as it went off the left side of the road. The truck hit a brick lawn pillar and then began to roll before hitting a tree.

Miller had to be freed from the truck by the Reidland Fire Department. A passenger, 28-year-old Brandon April from Benton, Kentucky was able to crawl out of the truck.

Both the driver and the passenger were taken to area hospitals. They were both wearing seat belts at the time of the collision.
