JACKSON, Mo. - Police are investigating a shooting at a car wash in Jackson, Missouri Tuesday night.

Jackson Police Chief James Humphreys says an argument between two teenagers ended in gunfire at the Shawnee Square Car Wash.

Humphreys says Jeremy Voshage, 17, was shot 3 times just before 6:30 pm Tuesday evening.

According to the police chief a 16-year old male is in custody.

Humphreys tells Heartland News that the two boys had agreed to meet at the car wash before the shooting took place.

Voshage is in serious but stable condition Wednesday morning after surgery at a local hospital.
